Many of our students ask us why a Certificate in a particular field of study is important. Basically, a Career Certificate from a recognized educational entity such as the Professional Development Institute of the University of North Texas shows an employer that you have done the extra work to become adept in a specific skill or skill set. Having the Certificate can make you more employable in the workplace. That’s key in today’s competitive marketplace.
